Depth
Things keeps its structure deliberately shallow. A project holds to-dos, a to-do holds a checklist, and that is as deep as it goes. Many people find that limit calming.
Tatask goes the other way. If a checklist item turns out to be a job in itself, you open it and add steps underneath. The tree grows where the work needs it.
Where you can use it
Things is only on Apple devices. If that is your whole world, it is hard to beat.
Tatask runs in any modern browser and has apps for iPhone and Android, so a Windows laptop at work and an Android phone at home share one list.
Try them side by side
Tatask’s trial lasts 30 days. Move one real project in and use both for a couple of weeks. You’ll know which one you reach for.
