Analytics without cookies
We count visits with two tools, both in cookieless modes:
- Fathom Analytics counts page views and a few events, such as clicks on a sign-up button. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device, and it only produces aggregate numbers.
- PostHog (EU hosting) shows us how people move through the site, for example which pages lead to someone trying Tatask. It runs in cookieless mode: no cookies, nothing in your browser's storage. Visitors are counted with a privacy-preserving hash calculated on PostHog's servers, so nobody can be recognised from one day to the next. Screen recording is off, and nothing typed into forms is captured.
The privacy policy has the full details.
The one thing we store
If you use the light and dark switch at the top of the page, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under tatask:theme, so the site remembers it next time. It's a preference, not a tracker, and it never leaves your browser. Clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Sites we link to
Store badges link to Apple's App Store and Google Play, and the sign-up buttons go to the Tatask web app at app.tatask.com. Those have their own cookie policies.
